Tim joined Maloney + Novotny in 1977 and was elected to shareholder in 1988. Tim has dedicated his career to working with not-for-profit organizations. Tim’s client engagements include colleges and universities, private schools, foundations, trade associations, various civic and cultural organizations and a diverse group of other not-for-profit organizations.
Tim’s ability to recognize and respond to the practical needs of his clients, along with interpreting and applying the technical standards set by the accounting profession, has allowed him to meet the individual needs of the firm’s clients. Tim has a special sensitivity to the daily challenges not-for-profit entities face, such as budget constraints and specific reporting requirements.
A 1977 graduate from the University of Dayton, Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past member of the Board of Directors and the executive committee of the Ohio Society of CPAs and past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Tim has been active in many community organizations and has served on numerous boards during his career. He is the current treasurer of the Sovereign Order of St. John’s of Jerusalem and is on the board of the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges.
