Born and raised on a farm in central Nebraska, Royal spent his first couple of years after high school farming. Shortly after starting to college, Royal received an invitation to serve two years with the U.S. Army. After returning from the service, he completed his college education and received an Associates Degree in Accounting. Over the past 35 years, Royal has honed his skills as an accountant in both the public and private sector. After college, he spent five years with a local CPA firm obtaining a wide range of experience. He then spent the next seven years as the Accounting Manager of a large private company where he remained until 1982 when he started his own Accounting and Tax practice.  On July 1, 2017, Royal transitioned out of an ownership role with the sale of his practice to Michelle Ehlers of Ehlers Accounting & Tax Services PC.  Royal continues to play an active role with our clients and will do so for the foreseeable future.
