Ron Farmer joined CoNexus CPA Group LLC as a tax partner. His work includes origination and ongoing maintenance of complex tax structures and transactions, with the related corporate, small businesses, family office, trust and estate planning and management, and very complex individual tax planning. His client base is high net worth individuals. He specializes in working with federal and state tax regulatory authorities, and representing clients in multiple states applications.
Prior to joining the company Farmer was the managing partner of Atlanta CPA firm Powers Farmer & Co., PC. He started his professional accounting career with Daniel Allen & Co., PC.
Farmer is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of West Georgia and a Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University.
Farmer is a member of Buckhead Church in Atlanta, and is a past Executive Board member of the Atlanta Area Boy Scouts of America and Kindred Spirit Christian Home (now part of City of Refuge in Atlanta.) He has given numerous presentations for the Small Business Administration/SCORE on “Issues for New Businesses in Accounting/Tax/Insurance.”
Farmer resides in Smyrna with his wife, Lisa. They enjoy spending time with family both in Florida on the Gulf Coast Panhandle, and in Asheville, NC. Ron enjoys boating, sport fishing, traveling, and dining everywhere.
