Jeff Horsley is a founding tax partner with CoNexus CPA Group, LLC. Horsley’s practice focuses on strategic tax management for high net-worth families and privately-held businesses, including income and estate/gift tax planning and compliance, and charitable planning. Horsley works with clients all over the U.S., including multi-state businesses.
Horsley also specializes in transferable tax incentives. He works with businesses in the film and entertainment industry to monetize Georgia film credits, and with other businesses looking to utilize tax credits and incentives to minimize tax. He also manages federal and multi-state tax reporting for investment partnerships.
Prior to the formation of CoNexus, Horsley was a tax partner with the Atlanta CPA firm Roddy, Horsley, Dillon & Gault, LLC. Prior to that he was a tax partner with its predecessor firm, RHD Miller Company, and a tax manager with its predecessor firm, Miller & Company, P.C. Before moving to Atlanta, he worked with the Birmingham, Alabama firm Mackle, Splawn, Tindall & McDonald as a staff accountant.
Horsley is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Alabama and a Master’s degree in accounting with tax concentration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Horsley is a member of the American Institute of CPAs Tax Section, the Georgia Society of CPAs and the Estate Planning Council of North Georgia.
Horsley is a past member of the Marietta Rotary Club, a past board member of the Atlanta charity Kate’s Club and current member of the Alabama Red Elephant Club.
Originally from Gadsden, Alabama, Horsley has resided in the Atlanta area since 2000. Horsley and his wife Caroline currently live in Smyrna with their two children.
