James has been in public accounting since 1994. His focus is working with individuals, partnerships, and corporations in the forest products and manufacturing and distribution industries. James’ extensive experience includes state and local tax, tax planning for general business, Internal Revenue Code Sections 631(a) and 631(b) planning for capital gains, planning and consulting for Section 1031 exchanges and Section 1033 involuntary conversions, corporate and partnership (LLC) restructuring and reorganization, and timber REITs. He leads the firm’s Forest Products Practice in the Eugene office.
